Special Award “Innovative Entrepreneur International” for Claassen
EU commissioner Günther Oettinger awards distinction at gala evening in Darmstadt
Darmstadt, 18 de abril de 2.016. Utz Claassen has been honored with the first special prize “Most innovative entrepreneur international”, at the award night for the “Innovation Award of the German economy 2015/2016 in the city of Darmstadt.
He received the award from the hands of Günther H. Oettinger, european commissioner for digital economy and society, and patron of the “Innovation award”. In his laudatio, Oettinger pointed out Claassens role as en executive and founder of companies, his innovative power, his international projection, and his entrepreneurial spirit, making Claassen “the ideal candidate for this award”.
Claassen accepted the distinction promising that for him it would be “an incentive to keep fighting harder than ever for innovations”. Innovation for him means the transmission of knowledge and competence into real development and quality of life for millions of people.
Utz Claassen is the only executive and entrepreneur who has been decorated with the “Innovation award of the German economy” in all three categories, large companies, middle and small companies, and start-ups, the last time 2013 with Syntellix. He is founder, majority shareholder and chairman of the world leader for biodegradable, metallic implants, and main sponsor of Real Club Deportivo Mallorca.
