Find out what our players and the boss had to say below
Cuéllar, Morlanes, Maffeo and Aguirre analysed our 2-1 win against Getafe as we signed off the season with a dramatic victory. Find out what the players and our departing boss had to say at full time.
Cuéllar
"It gives us the opportunity to finish the season well and above all to say goodbye to the coach with a victory, I think it's the best thing that could happen today. Unfortunately, a player has received a heavy blow, we wish him the best, a speedy recovery and may it be as little as possible.
"Above players and coaches are people and Javier is an excellent person".
Morlanes
"It's good to end the season with a victory. It was an emotional day because of the departure of the coach and his staff. Pichu, who I think is the oldest player in the history of Mallorca to play in the First Division, was also very happy. We are happy to have achieved our objective. It has been a season of many emotions.
"We hadn't tried this system much and in the end they are new things, movements that we are not used to doing and well, the opponent also plays and they were very good in the first half. After the goal they scored against us, we loosened up and managed to come back".
Maffeo
"For me, this goal was a relaxation after the weeks I've had. I'm happy for the dressing room and I'm happy for the coach to say goodbye like this.
"I told him so in private. They've all been great to me, all of them, on a professional and personal level.”
Aguirre
"We didn't play very well in the first half and in the second half with the change of design we were a little more in tune. The sun was very hard for both teams.
"I think David Soria's injury hurt them because seeing a team-mate like that can affect you and that's when we came out on top.”
