Dani Rodríguez, Omar Mascarell, Jose Copete and Javier Aguirre were on post-match media duties after our 1-1 draw with Celta Vigo. Find out what each had to say about the result below:
Dani Rodriguez
"It is bittersweet. It's always important to score, but I think we tried anyway. I don't know how many shots we had on goal, unlike them. It's already happened to us in several games this season, it's a question of accuracy.
"I don't know how it looked from the outside, but from the inside I saw that they had a chance and scored a goal. We dominated the game and the chances and I think we are in a good moment. I think we have to keep working, the sensations are very good despite not having won three goals today.
"The cup is a great competition, one game and I think we have this chance to go to the quarter-finals which would be spectacular for everyone.
"It's a big change. When I arrived here everything was very different. The club has a spectacular commitment to the everything. It's a beautiful stadium.”
Javier Aguirre
"A very complete match. The opponent shot only once between the posts. I think we could have scored one more goal. Cyle had a couple of chances and what I've been saying all season, we haven't been accurate in the penalty areas.
"I think the team is training well, they are playing well, with their limitations, it's normal, but if there was a deserving winner today it was RCD Mallorca.
"The cup is a nice experience. Players who don't have many minutes in the league take advantage of it. Tenerife is not a place that is easy, as we saw, as they eliminated a top team.”
Omar Mascarell
"It's true that Celta came out well in the match, but after the goal we grew as a team, we were in the game at all times, we had the best chances. Today it didn't go in which is a shame because it was a day to celebrate in style with a victory, but we can't reproach the team for that.
"Not only offensively, but also defensively, the team has been good. We conceded a goal, but we didn't have many shots on goal. We had clear chances, which on a normal day should go in, but that's football.
"Today was a day for everyone to enjoy. You looked at the stands and the atmosphere was brutal. I think people enjoyed it a lot. Both the club and the team go hand in hand to keep growing.
"For me it's a very special game (Tenerife). It's my homeland, it's my team. It's the round of 16 and we are in the cup, which is very important. We have a chance there to get through the round, but it's going to be a very complicated match in a full stadium where the crowd will be pressing."
Jose Copete
"The feeling that the team will be disappointed for not having been able to get the three points at home in a match that we were really looking forward to. I think the sensations have been good. Despite the early goal, the team kept fighting. It wasn't possible and when you can't win, at least you don't lose.
"We have to be more forceful at some point in the match. Today we were only able to score one goal and we know that we have to continue in this line, that if we play games like this we will always be closer to victory.
"Now we have to recover quickly. We have a match in a competition that we are very excited about. It will be a very tough match against Tenerife and we will go there to try to get through the round."
