Darder, Maffeo, Samu Costa and Arrasate evaluate our draw with Seville

Our trio and the manager reflected on our point at home

Sergi Darder, Pablo Maffeo, Samu Costa and Jagoba Arrasate reflected on our goalless draw against Sevilla. Find out what the boss and our players had to say below:

Sergi Darder

On his thoughts: It was a game to go out and win and I think we did that. We were very close to winning but we were playing against a very difficult team. We have to be stronger at home. It was not possible, the team is trying but there is still a long way to go. We have to keep the positive things.

On his evaluation of the match: We knew that they are a team that at the minimum generate a lot. We didn't let them get at goal much, but they have very good players who can hurt us in individual plays. We had our chances and maybe we lacked freshness up front.

On the team’s physical condition: After a very demanding match, we were good. The team was good until the last second. We must improve little by little and start winning now to score points, which is the most important thing.

Pablo Maffeo

On his 100th game with RCD Mallorca: I am very happy. It's the first time in my career that I've played 100 games with a team. Ninety nine per cent of my days here have been good and I'll hold onto that. Hopefully it will be 100 more games.

On his feelings: We went from less to more during the whole match. We had many chances. We have to keep going, we have only been here for three matches and there are 35 left.

On his personal feelings: I'm happy and calm. I have changed my way of thinking, I have talked to many people and I am very happy. I have surrounded myself with people who help me and it is a step forward for me on a personal and mental level. The coach is also helping me a lot and it shows on the field.

Samu Costa

On his physical condition: I'm fine, although I took a blow that bothered me the whole match. I'm angry because we didn't win.

On his feelings: It was a very intense and competitive match. They have a good team and we couldn't beat them. I want to win, we didn't and that's why I'm angry.

On the team physically: It doesn't matter, we have to be at 100%, recover and give it our all. That's our job.

Jagoba Arrasate

On his feelings on the game: It was an even match that had many phases. But the way it ended, we could have won. We have to be satisfied with the point and move on. Let's see if today's point tastes better on Saturday with a good result.

On chances: Especially in the second half. In the first half we started well, but then we struggled and we were outplayed. We had a good phase in the second half with chances and shots from Muriqi and Marc. It's a pity, but I congratulate him on his debut.

On the positive note: We drew both home games but we tried to win until the end. That's football and we understand that if that's the way it is we will have the prize soon.
