Jaume Costa and Jose Copete were on post-match media duties after our 1-0 loss to Villarreal CF. "It's a pity because the game was going the way we wanted it to go – we wanted them to have the ball and we wanted them to make mistakes.
We wanted to set up counterattacks that would lead to the first goal. It was a match planned like last year's game, but it wasn't to be.
“We lacked that bit of spark at the start of the game. In the second half we made two changes and tried to have more of the ball, but we were unlucky that in a corner they finished off a second play.”

"We were very excited to start here at home in front of our fans with three points, but it wasn't possible. We tried our best. The team gave everything.
“With the changes we have tried in one way or another, but sometimes the ball doesn't go in. We have to keep working and in the next game we are sure that better things will come.
"That’s football. There are small details that make it go one way or the other. Today we had a bad result, but the effort from my teammates who gave their all on the pitch is what stays with me.”
