Javier Aguirre expects us to have a difficult challenge ahead of our trip to Granada CF this Saturday evening.
We head to the peninsular looking to register our first win of the new campaign having drawn to UD Las Palmas and lost to Villarreal CF, but the boss believes there is more to come from his side.
"It's not going to be easy,” Aguirre told media in his pre-match press conference. “The Paco Lopez teams I've faced play very good football. We are going to suffer. They have a lot of attacking variations. Melendo and Callejón are doing a great job between the lines - they move very well. I'm very concerned about their play on the ball. They are really good.
"We have to make up for the last game immediately. We must try to change the perception we gave against Villarreal.”
We will travel to the Estadio Los Cármenes without captain Antonio Raíllo who faces a spell on the sidelines after undergoing ankle surgery.
"Raíllo underwent surgery and will be out for a long time,” Aguirre continued. “He is an important part of the team, in the dressing room and on the pitch, but these are things you have to overcome.”
