Kang in Lee, Valjent, Galarreta and Dani Rodríguez were on post-match media duties after we took another step towards safety with a 3-1 win against Getafe. Kang-In Lee’s brace and a goal from Antonio Raíllo was enough to secure all three points. Find out what the four players had to say below:
Kang in Lee
"We are happy that we got the three points. I think we are closer to the goal we have had since the beginning of the season. We will continue to work to be as high as possible.
"More than the numbers, I think the important thing is the work of the team, which is why we got the win. And well, until the end of the season we will give everything. I dedicated the goal to my sister who always tells me that I have to score goals and that's why I'm celebrating.
"We still have the last eight games left, and we will give everything to get maximum points. And that's the only thing we have to think about."
Martin Valjent
"The fans are supporting us in every game, through thick and thin. I think they deserved us to get a little bit closer to them after a game like this at home. We have to enjoy this result all together.
"Getafe's goal was an unfortunate goal. We kept working and being intense. Being able to equalise made us feel better and more confident, and that helped us to come back from the game".
Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta
"We are very happy. It was a very important match and we knew it was a very good opportunity to score points and get closer to our objective, and well, we are delighted.
"At home we know that we have the support of the fans. The match was difficult. They are a very difficult opponent to score goals against. To come back in this division is very difficult and what the team did in the second half is very valuable. I would like to thank the people who pushed us the most when we needed it the most.”
Dani Rodríguez
"I really wanted to play, maybe forcing a little. I wanted to be with the team. I am happy to have played and to have reached 100 games.
