Abdon Prats’ header cancelled out Rubén Alcaraz free-kick as we were held to a 1-1 draw against Cadiz CF at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix.
We got off to a poor start as Alcaraz hit an unstoppable free-kick from distance to give the visitors the lead in the 12th minute.
Antonio Raīllo tried to provide an instant response from afar but his effort was deflected off target in the 19th minute.
Antonio Sanchez also tried his luck from outside the box, but his shot flew over the bar just past the half-hour mark.
Abdon Prats ensured we went into the break on level terms when he headed home Pablo Maffeo’s cross in injury time to equalise.
Chances were few and far between after the restart as we struggled to create in the final third and went close a deflected Toni Lato cross in the 71st minute.
Raíllo came closest to securing a winner a minute later when he reacted first to a loose ball from a corner and hit the post with a clever flick.
Lato would have our last effort of the evening, but his effort was off target as we had to settle for sharing the points.
