Vedat Muriqi, Dani Rodríguez, Antonio Sanchez and Jagoba Arrasate discuss our win against Rayo Vallecano

Find out what the players and the boss had to say about our three points

Vedat Muriqi, Dani Rodríguez, Antonio Sanchez and Jagoba Arrasate were on post-match media duties after our 1-0 win against Rayo Vallecano. Find out what the players and the boss had to say below:

Vedat Muriqi:

Feelings after the win: We started well, I had many chances to score and I should have scored earlier. But that's sport, that's what makes football good. I'm very happy with myself, to start with a goal and a win after the injury is very positive.

Goalscoring streak against Rayo: I don't believe in these things but that's how it is. These are things that can happen and I was lucky enough to score so much against Rayo Vallecano. I'm sorry for them but that's my job, to score more and more.

Playing at home: Whether we win or lose it's always the same, they always support us. They are incredible and I hope they always support us, although I have no doubts.

Dani Rodríguez:

On the team's performance: I think that when you have a game in which you forgive so much, sometimes it gets complicated, but the team didn't break down at any time. It's a very fair win.

On LaLiga: 17 points. The truth is that it's incredible. I think we have to be very humble at the moment, we know what the objective is and we know that we have to work very hard to achieve it. Hopefully we can achieve it as soon as possible and then we can look at other things. Now we have to be calm and keep our feet on the ground.

On goals from set pieces: It's always important and I think that in our team we have people who are very good with their head and in strategy. We have good shooters and it's a weapon that can open up in today's football when the game is stuck.

On the tribute given to him for reaching 250 games: It's an immense happiness and above all to celebrate it there with the children, with my wife, who are the ones who are always with me and who have enjoyed all these games. I get emotional when I think about it and the truth is that I have experienced many happy moments.

Antonio Sanchez:

On the disallowed goal: It's true that I gave it to Dani and I saw that he was offside but I tried to wait for him. I didn't wait long because of what I saw and well, I'm happy because we got three important points after a defeat and a break. I've had a happy moment even if they took it away from me.

On reaching 150 games: I feel very proud to have played this number of games for my club and my home.

On the result: You have to keep what is really important, the three points. In the end it's true that we were good at home. The fans helped us a lot.

Jagoba Arrasate:

On the match: Very happy to win but above all because I think we played a great match. The prize probably came late but it did come in the end. That goal did us justice.

On the game: Above all because we were 0-0, there was a quarter of an hour to go and at the end you fear the worst. That goal freed us up and from then on we interpreted well what we had to do and we even came close to a second. I think the first half was more even, but we had some very clear chances to score. And I think that from the start of the second half we saw a superior Mallorca and that's what we want. We will try to work to repeat that next Monday.

On a goal from a set piece: A good delivery from Dani, Muri's finish and Martin's block were key again. In the end, when it can't be a set-piece, the set-piece is there for that too.

On LaLiga: I think it's a lot of points and it shouldn't stop us. It should help us to keep working with the same humility but also with the same ambition. We have a difficult game on Monday, but it's a nice game and it's at home again.
