We extend our collaboration with Shimizu S-Pulse

Both teams will continue their relationship for the next two seasons

We are delighted to announce we have signed a renewal of our collaborative agreement with Japanese J2-League side Shimizu S-Pulse for the next two seasons.

We have been working together for the past three seasons and our latest agreement will continue to allow us to share practice and promote our club in Japan.

Captains Abdón Prats and Antonio Raíllo were joined by CEO of Business, Alfonso Díaz at the signing event alongside with Shimizu S-Pulse president Shinya Yamamuro and other representatives of the club.

One of the major milestones of the agreement between the clubs is a clinic that will be held at the Shimizu S-Pulse facilities for children to learn from our coaches.

RCD Mallorca and Shimizu have organised several training camps with Japanese players in recent years with Riku Gunji most recently training with the reserve and youth teams at Son Bibiloni after players Ryuunosuke Yada and Yosuke Morishige.

We took part in the Glico Challenge Tour last season and even launched our kit for the 2022/2023 season in Japan alongside Dani Rodríguez, while Dimonió also surprised fans in a match against Chiba at the National Stadium.

David Díaz: "I would like to thank Shimizu S-Pulse, its president and all the staff for their welcome, it has been a very productive day. For us it is a very beneficial international agreement. We have been growing in Japan for several years and this collaboration helps us to open up possibilities both on a sporting and commercial level."

Shinya Yamamuro: "It is a privilege to continue this partnership with a club from one of the most important professional football leagues in the world. Our aim is to learn various skills to become a representative J.League club and to further improve our club management to be loved by our fans."
