RCD Mallorca and LaLiga have introduced NFC (Near Field Communication) technology across season tickets for the 24-25 season at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix.
The first match in which the technology will be available will be against Bologna FC 1909 for the Trofeu Ciutat de Palma on August 10.
In recent seasons, the club already had season tickets available in digital format using the QR code.
From now on it can also be used wirelessly (NFC), allowing to save the season tickets in the digital wallet of the device (phones or smart watches).
Season ticket holders will be allowed to log in by simply bringing the device close to the circular wireless reading icon located at the top of the turnstile which will facilitate and speed up access to the stadium, with the aim of avoiding long queues before the club's home matches.
QR code and physical card
Likewise, digital ID cards will continue to have the usual QR code for subscribers whose mobile device, for whatever reason, does not have NFC, or does not work with this technology.
Fans with a physical ID card will also be able to access as normal. The NFC, the QR and the physical season ticket will not be incompatible: if you have a physical season ticket, but you want to use your NFC season ticket, you can use either of the two to enter the stadium; however, once the physical season ticket has been scanned, the digital one will no longer allow entry, and vice versa.

Season ticket holders will be receiving from today, Monday, August 5, an email (from entradas@no-reply.laliga.es) through which they can download the season ticket for the 2024/25 season.
In addition to this, in the "NFC" section of the club's website is where you can find more information and answers to the most frequently asked questions in order to learn the steps to follow to add the tickets and have them available on personal electronic devices.
