Find out what the trio had to say after the hard-fought point

Jagoba Arrasate, Dominik Greif and Johan Mojica spoke to club media after our 1-1 draw with Real Madrid. Find out what the trio had to say below:

Dominik Greif

On the game: “It is a very sweet taste to get a point against Real Madrid, the best team in the world. I think we played a good game with the ball and without the ball. This point must be highly valued.”

On his performance: “I felt very comfortable. The first goal was difficult to do anything but we have to continue. We are happy."

On confidence: “Today's game gives us confidence but we have to continue with a cool head. It's just one point and the first game of 38 matches. We will need more points and more good games."

Jagoba Arrasate

On his thoughts: “Very happy with the game we played, with the team's effort and with the fans. Together we have achieved a very valuable point even though we were able to win.

On team work and effort: “It was one of the doubts against a team that is surely one of the best in this regard. Being the first game of the season I think it went well. Surely Muriqi's goal has given us that energy that we needed in addition to the help of the substitutions.”

On confidence: “It is what we need to continue believing in the idea. Positive results reinforce you. We still have room for improvement but today was a creditable performance.”

On the positives: “Above all, that the team has believed. It's difficult when you go 0-1 in the 10th minute against Real Madrid. We believed, we stayed in the game and in the end we defended well and had good counterattacks to score the second. In general, everyone played a great game.”

Johan Mojica

On the game: “I feel very identified with my teammates and the adaptation is being very good. The way we compete today is to be admired. Playing against the best in the world is not easy. We hope this is a turning point to achieve consistency.”

On his performance: “I invest a lot in my health, I am very disciplined and that means I can extend my career as much as possible. I have nothing to reproach myself over, I gave everything to the team and now I will try to maintain that consistency for the good of the club which has entrusted in me.”

On fans: “Having the fans cheer and accompany like this is very exciting. We hope to have that continuity during the season.”
